Este
edificio es obra del arquitecto municipal Fernando Sánchez Navarrete, y se
ubicada frente a la dársena del Guadalquivir en la Calle Rey Juan Carlos I y
rodeada de una importante masa arbórea en la zona Torneo de Sevilla asomándose al
río.
El
coste de sus 1.800 metros cuadrados construidos ascendió a unos cuatro millones
de euros, esta fue inaugurada en Marzo de 2.011 y a día de hoy por culpa de la
crisis es centro de estudios únicamente por falta de personal.
La idea
detrás de esta construcción es el uso de la luz en el permitiendo que esta
penetre en el interior y el conectar visualmente con el río desde el interior cosa
que viene bien como lugar de estudios al poder relajarse, además la obra no
supone un gran impacto visual desde la avenida de Torneo.

This
building is the work of municipal architect Fernando Sánchez Navarrete,
situated in front of the Guadalquivir dock in the street Rey Juan Carlos I and surrounded
by an important overstory in the Torneo area overlooking the river.
The
cost of its 1.800 square metres built rose to about four million euros, and
this was inaugurated in March 2.011 and as today because of the crisis it is
only a study centre due to the shortage of personnel.
The
idea behind this construction is the use of light allowing this to penetrate in
the interior and connecting visually with the river from the inside something
that will serve well for the studying area as a relaxing experience, likewise
this work does not pose a great visual impact from the Torneo Avenue.
